Relief

I will write a longer post later – when I have more time. But I want to update all the prayer warriors out there that have been so comforting to me....

The investigation is OVER.

There were no citations. There were no disciplinary actions. It is just over. No one in my household did anything wrong and justice has prevailed.

I rolled into home tonight (from vacation) with just enough time to watch USA walk through the parade of athletes. It's been a long day of driving but I must say, it sure was easier in the quiet of the car knowing that my name was cleared.

It's up to CPS what happens next. I don't know yet if the children will come back to our home or not. That decision may not even be up to us.

I thank you all for your prayers. I'll keep y'all posted. This adventure isn't over just yet.

Praise God!!! Praying that you feel God's peace over what happens next and about whatever decision you end up making (assuming you do get to make the decision!).

I know it's not over, but it must be such a relief! Thankful that you were cleared of everything!

Yeah! I'm so glad they cleared you, my heart was broken for you. I hope that you have some smooth sailing (at least as smooth as is possible in foster world) for a good long time after this.

SO GLAD for you! Praise God. Just the thought of never being able to work with kids ever again makes me sick to my stomach.

After this time without foster children I would consider carefully if you are given a choice who you want to reintroduce into your home.
You do have the right, if asked, to decide for yourself what the right answer is for your current family. In any case I hope you will be able to be in contact with all 3 and if appropriate share to them that which you view as their belongings.
Grateful this part is over, looking forward to the rest of the whole adventure! Thank you for what you do, and for sharing with us all.

So grateful to read of some relief for you! And yet, knowing it isn't over, will pray for continued wisdom as you decide how to move forward... And for these babies, knowing that all the real power is in the hands of CPS.

So glad to hear that. It's good to know the system isn't always crazy.

That is such a relief and yet your life is forever changed for the experience you went through. Hopefully in time you'll be able to see some light in the matter but for now I celebrate with you that the investigation is over in your favor.
